Deborah Mungai Attends Africa Fashion Week London Casting at The African Centre

by Showafrica July 9, 2025 859 0 Comment

The reigning Miss Africa Great Britain, Deborah Mungai, made a striking appearance at the Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) casting held on 5 July 2025 at the African Centre in London. With grace, poise, and a message of empowerment, Deborah was joined by her 2nd runner-up, Yordanos Belay from Eritrea, as they mingled with other aspiring models and fashion talents hoping to take the stage at one of the continent’s most celebrated diasporic fashion events.

Speaking exclusively to ShowAfrica, Deborah said,

“It’s lovely to be out and cast for Africa Fashion Week London with other beautiful women for such an iconic platform. I’m really looking forward to the show in August.”

Known for more than just her crown, Deborah Mungai is a beacon of inspiration both on and off the runway. In addition to her role as Miss Africa GB, she is the founder of a foundation dedicated to empowering youth across the UK and Kenya. Her vision includes developing a structured program that provides young people with mentorship, education, and creative opportunities to thrive.

Africa Fashion Week London, set to take place this August, is renowned for showcasing African-inspired designers and models, making it the perfect stage for Deborah to further shine while advocating for youth empowerment and cultural pride.
