Pretoria, South Africa – March 30, 2025

The Miss Teen Africa SA 2025 sashing ceremony took place at the prestigious Sammy Marks Square Auditorium in Pretoria Central on March 30, 2025. The highly anticipated event, which ran from 9am to 4pm, marked a significant milestone in the journey to crown the next Miss Teen Africa South Africa.

Seventeen talented and beautiful finalists were officially sashed, signaling the start of their journey to compete for the coveted title of Miss Teen Africa South Africa 2025. The finalists, who were selected from a pool of talented young women, will go on to compete in the main event later this year.

This year’s pageant features two categories: Pre-Teen (13-15 years) and Teen (16-20 years), providing a platform for young women of different ages to showcase their talents, skills, and personalities.

According to Ntombi Mthombeni, the National Director of Miss Teen Africa SA, and her Assistant Director, Bokamoso Duiker, the event was a huge success. “The sashing ceremony went well as planned, and we are thrilled with the outcome,” they said in a joint statement. “We hope that this event will inspire more girls to participate in the pageant and strive for excellence.”

The Miss Teen Africa SA 2025 pageant aims to empower young women and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents, skills, and personalities. The pageant is committed to promoting self-confidence, self-esteem, and community service among its participants.

With the sashing ceremony now behind them, the 17 finalists will embark on an exciting journey of self-discovery, growth, and development.
