ANSM Presents The AfroLux Runway: Where Heritage Meets High Fashion

by Showafrica February 13, 2026 123 0 Comment

ANSM is proud to present The AfroLux Runway, a premium fashion showcase celebrating luxury designs from African and Caribbean creatives across the UK and the global diaspora. Hosted in celebration of Black History Month in October 2026, AfroLux Runway promises an evening where culture, craftsmanship, and couture converge.

The AfroLux Runway is more than a fashion show. It is a statement. A curated platform designed to spotlight established and emerging designers whose work blends African and Caribbean heritage with contemporary luxury aesthetics. From bold silhouettes and intricate textiles to refined tailoring and innovative storytelling, the runway will reflect the depth, elegance, and global relevance of Black fashion excellence.

Staged during Black History Month, a time dedicated to honouring the achievements and contributions of Black communities, the event will attract industry professionals, buyers, media, tastemakers, and fashion enthusiasts from around the world. Designers participating will gain international exposure while contributing to a purpose that extends beyond the catwalk.

All funds raised from The AfroLux Runway will support the Miss Teen Africa Foundation, an organisation dedicated to empowering girls and young women in both the UK and Africa. The foundation focuses on education, confidence building, leadership development, and creating opportunities that help girls realise their full potential.

By merging luxury fashion with social impact, The AfroLux Runway reinforces the idea that style can be a powerful force for change. Every step on the runway represents not only artistic expression, but also hope, empowerment, and investment in the next generation of African and Caribbean female leaders.

October 2026 will mark a defining moment. Fashion with purpose. Culture with elegance. Impact with intention.
The AfroLux Runway is coming.
